New SONY Bravia NX800
Started by Night Angel 4-3-10 .

One of the best designs I have ever seen in the past few years, this is so beautiful and cool...look at those edges!

That really redefines the look of a set of television. Have you seen this? What do you think?

Look for inspiration then from magazines and websites then you know what it is minimalistic. Only put up things you need, and throw away anything you don't need. Done.

I seen many, read about them, tried it. But after awhile i just tend to add more things in ._.

Did you try to copy them first as practice?

If you know you tend to add things back, that means you know your problem and you have to work on that.

Yeah lol. Like i took away a few stuff then it makes me feel empty instead. Then i add them back in, and i am stuck in an adding and removing game ._.

everybody does that, but I don't know, guess you can only work it out with more practice

I saw this NX800 in the SonyShop, placed in one of the most famous and exclussive and new mall in the city: Antara Shop Mall (WTF... everyone talks about it and I get more fun in some other malls even in the one placed near to my house .. *^~$&?# fuck ) ok .. I thought the price would be so high and a kick but surprisingly don't. The Sony models were arround 2 500 and 4 500 usd. the NX800 was "cheap" considering the model and the techs.. of course I would buy a car or pay a travel instead!!

but you are right, considering the design and all the technology, it is not an expensive product, though one may be able to find something similar from other brands with the same price, or even more advanced (people said that the 200Hz was low comparable to other 500Hz models...)

McLaranium 10-4-10 2010-04-10 22:25:56

is just to consider the main use you'll give for the screen. more games - more movies-- more tv ?? which one? all ? we've seen Edge Led screens but believe me even if the price worths - in my house it is too much just for a few movies--

do you mean the refreshing 500Hz? named "motion flow" - maybe that's right 500 Hz with the same price !

Night Angel 11-4-10 2010-04-11 00:52:34

Yes motion flow

You may wonder if we really need a better TV. It depends. In Hong Kong, people do spend some time after work, and TV is like a must. Also, HD channels are more and more popular and therefore a better TV always means better expensive, and Hong Kong people will depend pay a little more for that leisure part

McLaranium 13-4-10 2010-04-13 04:49:03

here in MX the HD channels aren't popular. The HD TV, Plasma or LCD or LED Screens are very popular, the massive invassion the past year and the current are the TV screens. my mother says "a new TV is just to be updated, not for need it" .. yes that's it.
My brother is against buy a blu-ray , he says it's better a but it is more expensive than a blu-ray player -- and I just want a player bluray ..

Your brother is right. is a much better choice, and it allows you to do more like gaming and music playing...

That's the reason for me too to get Slim
